Activating a Domain

Once you have added your domain, you must activate it before it can be used with geoPlugin.

This security check is required to prove you actually have control over this domain.
If this security check was not present, other users could maliciously register your domain on geoplugin, preventing you from adding it.

Activating your domain is quick and easy, and is explained in the email sent to you once you added your domain.
In that email, you will have an activation code. Simply make that activation code viewable from the web for example in a new html page (e.g. geoplugin_activation.html)

Then enter the URL where the activation page can be viewed at e.g.
http://www.yourdomain.com/geoplugin_activation.html
After clicking on Activate this domain from the Domain Management menu.

Our robots will verify the activation code and if correct, will proceed to activate your domain.
Once activated, all of geoPlugin, including statistics, will be fully available to this domain.
